We believe in energy transition and put in practice our expertise for energy-efficient buildings that are more sustainable and environment friendly.
At the origins of the idea and company, Thierry Lamouche is a computer engineer and has managed a project management office and a consulting firm in Sustainable Building Development for more than twenty years.
He planned and developed the first positive energy building in France: the Lycée Kyoto in Poitiers in 2003. Convinced of the potential of the Bioclimatic Thierry develops the Sustain’air breakthrough innovation with the support of ADEME (French Environment and Energy Management Agency). He won several calls for projects and obtains the publication of a European patent in 2015.
That same year, the operation of a pilot plant in an office building in Sophia Antipolis validates the operational aspects of the system and documents the energy savings.
In 2017, Sustain’air strengthens its teams and sees the arrival of a new partner, Geoffroy Germano, HEC, with a very international experience in marketing and business development in large groups.
Five people work today in the company, which is supported by the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis and based in its incubator.
Winner of the “Air Conditioning of the Future” call for project (Investments Program for the Future PIA) and labeled COP 21, SUSTAIN’AIR is also a member of the “Fibres-Energivie” Sustainable Building competitiveness cluster.
